Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood writer and actor that has won critical acclaim for her talent. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's the most senior of three kids who were born to Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith, a psychologist. She's English and Scottish origin. Moore was often in and out of her family due to the duties of her father. It was difficult to keep or meet new friends. Moore was in the class of Frankfurt American High School in Germany as her parents moved to the United States. Then she began to perform on stage. She continued her education at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. Thesis in Theater. Moore relocated to New York after graduating and began her career with off-broadway theater. She made her screen debut in 1985 with an episode of The Edge of Night. It was in 1986 that she made her breakthrough in which she was cast as the character as Sabrina Hughes as well as Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Changes. She starred on the show as the World Turns through 1988. For her role she won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she began her film debut with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which was later criticized as an awful low-budget movie. Short Cuts (1993), 3 Women (1997), and both were directed with Robert Altman. The critically acclaimed performance of her in short-cuts (1993) was rewarded with several nominations. Moore's first leading role was as a lead actress in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to be the main character role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The film was one of the most popular films released in the year. She was a part of Magnolia (1999) and received a favourable review and earned an SAG nomination for her performance. She co-starred with Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep and others for The Hours, which was awarded nine times at the Academy Awards. Moore also appeared in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) along with a host of other films. In 2014, she was in Non-Stop. Moore was a regular in countless television and film productions. She has starred in numerous TV and film programs. Her latest role was In When You Finish Save the World 2022. The actress has made herself known in Hollywood and is also a children's author. In 2007, she released Freckleface Strawberry, which became a New York Times bestseller. The book was a huge best bestseller, and then was made into a TV series and musical. In 2013, she published the book, My Mom is an American. As a well-achieved actor and writer, Moore's private life has been made public. In 1984 she married John Robin and in 1995 they separated. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her kids. Moore is a woman who values her career and family.
